Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This policy sets out what Navflow will and will not build, and what clients are expected to use their websites for. It applies to all services provided by Navflow.

What Navflow Will Not Build

Navflow will not design, develop, or maintain websites that:

  • Promote, facilitate, or advertise illegal activity of any kind
  • Contain or distribute hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
  • Are designed to deceive, defraud, or mislead visitors
  • Distribute malware, spyware, or other malicious software
  • Facilitate the sale of counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Host or distribute adult content, gambling services, or age-restricted content without appropriate legal compliance in place
  • Impersonate another person, business, or brand
  • Are in breach of any applicable UK law

Navflow reserves the right to refuse or terminate any project where the content or purpose conflicts with this policy, at any stage of the engagement.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • All content on your website is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third-party rights
  • Your website complies with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, advertising standards, data protection, and sector-specific regulations
  • Any products or services sold through your website are legal and honestly described
  • You do not use your website to send spam, run unsolicited marketing campaigns, or collect personal data without proper consent

Reporting a Concern

If you believe a Navflow-hosted website is being used in a way that violates this policy, contact hello@navflow.co.uk with details. All reports are reviewed and acted upon where appropriate.

Enforcement

Breaches of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of services without refund. Where illegal activity is suspected, Navflow reserves the right to report the matter to the relevant authorities.
